Entry #1

Dwarpal : so humble and small, yet is having the power to stand firm to serve Lord Shiva and Nandi from several decades.
Name of the Heritage: Shiv Temple.
Location: A small village in Ghana, Khamaria
History: This small temple was constructed by the local people of this village in Ghana, some 200 years ago. The architecture is inspired by the typical Gondwana Style Temple Architecture of the Gondwana Dynasty in and around Jabalpur. The special feature which we can see over here is a cute little Dwarpal on the door, which was a very prominent feature of Gonds.
